C & R Update

Tellico Village property owners are encouraged to check back often to see the progress on the effort to gather nearly 4500 signatures in order to adopt the Proposed Amendment to the Covenants and Restrictions.

HOT NEWS ON THE C&R PROPOSED AMENDMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!

*  C&R change packets started hitting mailboxes February 28th.  Several property owners returned their signature page as early as Friday, February 29th.

*  As of May 2nd, more than 3700 signatures collected...see chart below.

*  A second mailing was sent to those not signing yet on April 14th.

*  The following organizations have endorsed the effort to pass the proposed amendment to the C&Rs:

Friends of the Library Board of Directors

Communications Advisory Committee

Finance Advisory Committee

Golf Advisory Committee

Public Services Advisory Committee

Congrats Property Owners...We're off and running.  More than 3700 signatures collected as of May 2nd.  Keep 'em coming.

The Proposed Amendment to the C&Rs is being proposed for the following key reasons:

1.     This is the first opportunity to place the future of Tellico Village in the hands of the property owners.

2.     This proposed amendment will make the C&R change process less difficult and less expensive.

3.     This amendment will shorten the time it takes for future changes to go into effect.
